Meet the Owners
My husband Tony and I have over 40 years of educational experience and are excited to start this new endeavor. Tony and I have been married for almost 32 years and have lived in Pinellas County the entire 32 years. We have 4 daughters ages 28, 26, 24 and 15. We are also blessed with 2 granddaughters. We have worked with children and young adults most of our married life. We were youth leaders in our church for over 15 years and actively involved in our church and community.
Tony has a BS in Physical Education from Clearwater Christian College. He has taught for over 25 years in public, private, and charter school education. He has taught physical education and health, along with a few other classes. While teaching, he has coached many middle school competitive sports and has been the Athletic Director at his current school, Pinellas Preparatory Academy, for over 15 years. Tony took over a new position at his school 2 years ago as the Facilities Director, managing and supervising the functions of the school. During this time, he oversaw the construction of our first school gymnasium, which opened in December 2022. He has been at Pinellas Prep for 15 years and continues to be the Athletic and Facilities Director.
Stephanie graduated from Clearwater Christian College with a BA in Psychology. She worked for 10 years at Directions for Mental Health, working with adults and children with mental health challenges. Her work in the mental health field helped her to transition into education, where she has worked for the past 15 years. Stephanie has worked in private and charter schools and also homeschooled her daughters for several years. She has held several positions at her current school, Pinellas Preparatory Academy. She has taught elementary and middle school grades, worked as the Behavior Specialist, Interim Principal, and is currently the Social Services Coordinator.
We are family oriented and want to make this endeavor a family business as well. We know that Tracey and Karen are terrific examples of how a family run business can be successful and rewarding. We look forward to learning from them and adapting their expertise into the preschool here in Florida.
